A: when you state "lock open" are you asking if this pivot will hold the door open at a specific degree?

A: Center Hung Pivots, like the ABH 0128, do not feature a hold open option however nor are they self closing. Therefore the door will "stay" in any position you place the door. Please explain your application more fully and I will review for a hardware solution to your requirement.
Q: I am looking at the ABH 0128 and my customer wants to place this pivot in the center of the width of the panel, allowing the panel to rotate in the center of an opening. Is this item capable of this?
A: Absolutely you can install the hardware that way in the only thing I would suggest is that you make a thorough review of all implications of installing the pivot hardware this way such as locksets and door treatments and weatherstripping requirements.
