Q: Is the pivot stud available as a stand alone product?
A: It is not as this is a press fitted piece. You can order the bottom pivot portion only if necessary or naturally the entire pivot.

If you would be kind enough to give me a little more information around quantity, finish, etc. we can give you a budget figure that we can tighten up once we see a physical sample and nail down the details with more specificity. Also, if there are other custom pieces that may need to be fabricated on this project maintaining the historical integrity of the building, please consider us for those as well. Q: I have a storefront aluminum door. The door is sagging maybe 1/4 inch or less and it is hitting and rubbing the bottom door threshold when opening and closing. If i lift the door a little it will open and close freely. It looks like the intermediate pivot is bent a little on the frame side and I have tried to screw in harder but it is as snug as it gets. it looks like it has a reinforcing plate as well inside the door for the pivot intermediate. What do you think part this is and what should I order to replace the pivot or should I replace all 3 components top to bottom. Images here:

A: Adjusting that intermediate pivot is not going to affect the correction that you need. In fact the intermediate pivots job is to keep the door from warping and doesn't carry much of any of the weight of the door whatsoever.
What I would attempt first is to simply shim the bottom pivot up to see if you can lift the entire door from the bottom. I would be tempted to get the door lifted up from the bottom pivot towards the header and if that doesn't work I would replace the bottom pivot and the arm in the bottom of the door completely - I wouldn't change the intermediate pivot at this time nor would I change anything in the header.
